Working, researching, writing seems to be a large part of my life – hence my photo choice for this month’s blog entry. I love it!

Nuit Blanche – missed it – stayed home nursing the sniffles. Oh well. Earlier in the month I did check out a few good spots.

Consignor.ca open its doors across from the AGO. The newest on line auction house in town incorporating continually viewing of works! Great turnout – congratulations to Rob, Lydia and Ryan.

Feared I would be disappointed with Ai Weiwei at the AGO – so was not!!! I will be returning for a second time this month. From exceptionally well-crafted objects, thought provoking processes, inclusive methods, a truly personal and political activist artist.

Made a trip to Museum London and saw two full on exhibitions: Bernice Vincent and Kim Ondaatje. Really enjoyed the selection of Recent Acquisitions, as well.

Spent a wonderful rainy Saturday – and a great turnout considering the weather – participating in the 11th annual Queen West Art Crawl! Began by attending the morning lecture in the Drake Underground where Sky Glabush told the most wonderful story. My chosen tour  – Clint Roenisch, MOCCA, Stephen Bulger, Paul Petro, Interaccess, and O’Born Contemporary – and listen to the curators’ and artists’ talks when I always pick up a nugget or two. Sunday did my walkabout the Trinity Bellwoods Park to witness the art circus. Ho-hum.
