An evergreen tree.

Straight short thorns 1cm in pairs at the nodes.

Small dark green leaves, lighter on the underside.

Clusters of white flowers.

Sow seeds in Spring when the difference between day and night temperatures is about 12°C.  Treat with a pre-emergence fungicide.
